I have 2 sites linked together via voip trunks. I can call from TDM sets to TDM sets, IP to TDM sets, Analog to IP or Tdm sets. However when I call IP set to IP set, I can see the call set up it rings the other IP set they answere, however there is know speach path and the originating set gets a fast busy. The release reason is it doesn't reconize the other end answering. All my H323 settings are identical at both ends. What can I look for?

One way or no way speech is usually a network routing issue. Make sure both sites can acccess the opposite network subnet.

Invalid subnet mask or invalid default gateway on one side in the IP phone provisionaing can cause this scenario. Those settings can be different from the BCM settings, so it could work tdm-tdm, but not IP-IP.

Hope this helps
Rob

Do you have a VPN tunnel between the two locations? Are the IP sets connected through a VPN tunnel to each location?
If they are then they will need to be connected via VPN to each other.

If via VPN ensure local and remote networks are correctly provisioned. IP set to TDM/PSTN calling = set to BCM media path. IP set to IP set calling = set to set media path.

Test. Check the IP address/VLAN of one IP set at each site. Remove them from the network and give a PC at each site the same IP/VLAN settings as the set just removed. Try to ping, traceroute and remote desktop from one to the other. If you cannot, then it's 100% network or firewall issue.
