BCM 1000 3.01...existing system that cust. wants ip phones activated for the first time...when system was installed, network ip address was progr. on LAN 2...am attempting to bring up phones, but ip telephony setting is pointing to LAN 1...I try changing it with the dropdown box to LAN 2, but setting keeps returning to LAN 1...can this be changed...how?

Uninstall the java on your laptop and download the version from the bcm and it will work.....

I believe you must reboot the system after changing the Published IP address before it will take effect.

yes your right but what was happening is every time you changed the published ip address it would revert back to the original setting reboot or not just after changing my java it worked..

I had this problem once but I can't remenber how I fixed it. let me think on it a bit and maybe it will come to me.

i have fixed it ! i had to unistall the the new java and install the one from the BCM

Is there some software that will allow the BCM IP phones to receive calls and recieve a pop up window. I have a customer who has a predictive dialer connected to analog stations from a BCM 3.7 and when the calls are placed through the dialer and answered by the potential customer the call is transferred to an agent in an ACD Cue. The agents are in India and the BCM is in California. The agents are using softphones and the T-1 is PRI.

Don't ask a totally different question on a thread, start your own new one and you might get more answer's.
