Hello everyone.

Has anybody been able to link up a BCM (3.5) with a Nortel Call Server V04.00t via it's NRS (Gatekeeper) Sig Server software?. I've been trying to connect one up & I'm having trouble getting any good help guides on how to configure it. By BCM has 2 IP Trunk ports enabled & I can view & change the H323 / Gatekeeper sections, but I'm wondering if the NRS has to be changed differently to match the BCM?.

Any help would be appreciated please?.

I believe you'll need the MCDN/SL1 (or QSIG since you're in Europe) keycode to do IP trunking from BCM to M-1 after IPT software was released. Configure the BCM IP trunks as Gatekeeper Resolved, put in the Node IP of the NRS/Signalling Server, stop/start the VOIP gateway and you should be pretty much set to go, except for routing setup on both the BCM and CS1000.

You may need a FEPS patch in the BCM depending on what patches you have in the 3.5 system. Or just upgrade it to release 3.6 and put in the cumulative patch - might be worth doing that anyway.

Use the SRG Configuration Guide for configuring the H323 Trunk

Thanks for the 2 replies. I'll attempt to configure them next week.
