Any suggestions or helpful hints for linking a BCM400 to a Norstar?

I've connected several Norstar LINES to the analog extensions on the BCM, but there must be a better way...

Many thanks!

Using digital trunk cards in both systems with a crossover T1 cable would be a cleaner solution. You'd then need to setup destination codes, routes, and target lines in both systems to dial and receive calls. The systems need to have different dialing plans for this to work. For example, the MICS would have DN's in the 2000 range, and the BCM would have DN's in the 3000 range. Then you could use a destination code 3 in the MICS to call the BCM, and a destination code 2 in the BCM to call the MICS.

Hey thanks Brian :)

Sounds like a bit of programming! I take it you mean the digital T1 interface MBM?

Is there any way to accomplish this with a BCM fiber expansion module --> norstar fibre expansion cartridge?

Cheers!

Yes, DTI card (Norstar) to DTI Module(BCM)

No, Expansion modules/cards are to expand digital stations, analog devices & lines via a fibre cable for Norstar modules 0X16,12X0 & ASM.
