BCM External Paging

I am trying to use the external page port on a BCM 400 and not having any luck.Does anyone know what the BCM is handing off out of the page port. I cant even go off hook with a test set.

The output that you're asking about is for low-level paging (Not trunk level). You need to connect an external amplifier/controller with speakers attached to the amplifier if you want to use low-level paging. Otherwise, if you have a trunk-level solution, connect it to one of your CO trunk ports and put it its own line pool and assign an access code to it. After that, you can assign that particular line to phones that have the need to page externally.
