BCM Element Mgr ---- Upgrade to 1

Business Element Manager Major Release Released 2009-09-23

I just went to Nortel and updated my Element Mgr to the latest release for my BCM50 v5. I lost all my "BCM sites" after the upgrade.

Any ideas on how I can recover my 75 BCM sites/notes??????

Thanks to my co-worker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you loose the list of sites in your EM you can copy a co-workers list by copying the "summary.xml" file.

Click on the new shortcut for Element Mgr you downloaded and paste the summary.xml file to the same location your shortcut points to.

C:\Documents and Settings\Alex\.bcm\BEM\bin\access

The "old" list of sites still reside on your pc under "c:\program files\Nortel\Business Element Manager\BusinessElementManager\bin\access"

Don't forget to copy all your cartridges from "c:\program files\Nortel\Business Element Manager\BusinessElementManager\bin\registry\cartridges" to "C:\Documents and Settings\Alex\.bcm\BEM\bin\registry\cartridges".
