BCM Element Manager / Windows 2003 and VISTA

Has anyone successfully installed any version of BCM element manager on Windows 2003 Server or Windows VISTA? If so could you share how you accomplished this?

BCM Element Manager does not work on these operating systems. Nortel is currently investigating. We have to wait for the new version :(

If you run the installer from Vista in Windows 2000 compatibility mode and also run as administrator. You find these options in properties of the installer exe.

You could try the Business Element manager that works on the Business Portfolio (switches, APs, BCM and routers). Maybe that one works?

Seriously try my suggestion. I have element manager installed and running on my vista laptop. No start menu shortcuts where installed but it works so go figure...

Just create your own shortcuts
