I have a BCM running at 100% and is RED Lined in the BCM Monitor, I checked everything I could remotly but I can't find anything wrong. The HD seems to be running constatly.

Start shutting down services and monitor. Check your PEC cards. Check the RAM. Defrag. Pull it off your network and test.
Good luck

Obvious question is have you rebooted?
Also have you upgraded to latest release or patched?
There are many known software defects in BCM which can lead to blue screen or memory leaks etc...
I would disconnect from network and reboot then patch.

I've had this, but when I did a hard boot it would continue to bring it up in 100% cpu usage. What worked for me was a reset of the system from the telephone set. Make sure your logging out of Unified manager as well when using it. I think I was locking by logging in so many times and not properly logging off. Try it! If not again check your PEC cars as suggested above.

I would agree with the PEC cards needing replacing. I haven't experienced it myself, but have heard about this problem and this turned out to be the solution.

BTW, Could your Callpilot be filling up the harddrive with alot of saved voice messages?

I did a Reboot after hours and it is working fine now.

Thanks all.

All 60 of my BCM's are at 3.6 and the latest patchs.

I guess maybe you need new patch or maybe others are right and you should reseat or replace PEC's

On a somewhat related question.. Is it normal for BCM memory to be running at about 70%?

All 60 of mine run between 0% and 20% when ever I check them with the BCM Monitor program.

Hmmm.. I have two and they are both running about 70%ALL the time...

Mine may jump up to 70% when I'm doing a backup or something like that, but normally they are very low. I just checked 1 site and when I first logged on with BCM Monitor and whet to usage indicators, it show 60% and then dropped to 2%. Maybe you should try rebooting them.

That's why you shouldn't ask a new question inside another question, you should start a new thread, I though you were talking about CPU. and yes all 60 of my BCM's run about 70%
