What is the command for backing up the config file on a BCM 3.0 using TFTP and the CLI?

There isn't any way to do it via TFTP. The BRU utility is your only option.

Don't mean to sound like an idiot, but I am new to the BCM world. Where can I find the BRU utility? Is it fairly easy to use?

If come on the LAN to BCM manager. On the first screen there are 7 menu items, select the one thay say's BRU. the next screen you need to enter your user name and password then you can select various back options. you can do a backup to the E drive on the BCM by just hitting BACKUP NOW.

Do not do this during work hours as doing a backup shuts the system down.

Only thing that gets shut down during a backup is the voicemail system - all call processing, trunks, sets (analog, digital, IP) continue to work as normal.

I'd recommend backing up to a FTP server or network share (both are options in BRU) - backing up to the BCM hard drive is only slightly better than doing no backup at all.
