Site A will have a BCM400 4.0 and site B will have a BCM50. We will be using MCDN. There will be Centralized VM hosted be the BCM400. There will be an MPLS network and we will have 8 VOIP trunks at each site. Site A will have a PRI for incoming/outgoing and site B will have local POTS lines for outgoing. When someone calls the local POTS lines we need them to ring at site A (BCM400).
Question 1: If this is possible how would I do this?
Now, I have thought about having an extra phone with the POTS lines ringing on it. Then using Feature 4 and forwarding the phone to the Attendant at site A.
Question 2: If the MPLS network goes down, how would I get the POTS lines to be answered back at site B?
Now, if the Feature 4 solution will work then I would use Feature #4. But that just seems to simple. Is there another way to do this without having the extra phone?
