Has anyone setup a network location?

It states as a choice Computer (IP,Port)
Never tried to connect to a computer in that fashion.
I understand that BCR from Algo was made for this but the software is no longer available for download.

Client wants recorded calls saved to certain PC so looking for some examples how to set it up if possible....I have always used email in the past.

Thanks

Hello Curly

a colleague of mine recently came across the same issue and it looks as if the option to save it to a computers IP address was never fully developed.

My suggestion was to have the Call Pilot desktop messaging installed and have the messages saved onto Outlook.

Thanks

I think its like a listening server where BCR would listen then receive the files.
The manual states you must have "a software" to be able to receive them or something like that.

As for Email you can just choose the email option which works fine for me, no need for DM/UM.

Looks like I will need to play with Email Attachment Extraction programs, seems to be a few out there where you can have it extract the attachments and send them to a network folder.

Hi there , during the BCM 6.0 alpha trials there was an application that could receive the recorded calls, so this is the reference for the IP that says in BCM.
There was a limited access to this application, only internal in Nortel / Avaya and maybe some close partners.
that was called Professional Call Recording Server.
I did not have this application but i know some did.
Maybe activating old contacts will help to get this.

Regards

Hello Nikos

That sounds about right, and it is a shame that it was never released.
