Hi Guys,

I have just programmed a BCM 50e version 2. The pilot number comes straight into an auto attendant. Everything is working well and the customer is very happy.
One question has arisen about recording the CCR Tree greetings.
Is there a way the customer can re-record these greetings without having to use the Call Pilot GUI to dial an extension, hit record, hit stop and save etc? Can this be done through the handset by dialling a feature code or another sequence of digits.
The customer doesn't want to do any programming of the system - only record CCR greetings.

Thanks for your help.

Morning Stiffy.

Yes, this can be done using a telset. Refer to the "CallPilot Telephone Administration Guide" included with the BCM50 documentation. The details are little lengthy to write out here but it is done through the Feature 983 administration. The user guide is your best bet.

Warning. It is much more difficult to record the greetings with a telset than with the call pilot manager. In my opinion anyway.
