Hi Everyone

I have had a customer install the 3.7 cumulative patch while having the RCC running. This has corrupted the files on the BCM. I have been told that this can be fixed by Nortel, The problem is it will be chargable and in the UK that charge can be up to £3000. I was wondering has anyone experienced this problem and if so . How did they fix it?

I am exploring all avenues before I replace the hard disc and reprogram the voice mail etc. I have tried a restore of a good backup but still no joy.

I courrupted ALL the BCM files, or just those pertaining to the RCC?

Could try a chkdsk /f on all of the BCM drives....?

Good luck. Sounds like you will need it.

Sorry just to clear up

The BCM is working fine it is just the RCC that is not functioning. I have read in the Nortel site and on various patches that Nortel can repair or rebuild the RCC info. I was trying to see if anyone has been down that road with Nortel already and made a few notes.

I have rebuild the files that on used to run the BCM RCC application, It was straight forward after I set up the VNC and replaced a few files.
