BCM backup problems

I have been backing up 25 BCMs to a remote pc for years. I cannot seem to figure out the setup to backup the 4.0. Everything I enter and test is reported as "FAILED".

I could use some help, any help, with the configuration.

I have this same exact issue, and I normaly backup to ftp. I had to replace my 3.6 bcm and reinstall a 4.0 and ever since I have not been able to get the 4.0 to backup to the server. I is a linux server on my local network, no matter how i format the folder setting it fails. This same server worked fine for the 3.6.

My vendor gave me an idea that I don't like but I will try come Monday. The suggestion is that I have to change my backup directory from C:\Folder\(Shared) subfolder to
C:\(Shared)subfolder

I will report back.
