BCM as FAX server

I am attempting to have one number on the BCM v4.0 so that someone from a FAX machine can call into and leave a FAX for Desktop messaging to see. I have this working on a lab system and had to just do express messaging on the CallPilot Record to the physical line. When I try this on another system, the call is answered but rather than silence and then a fax tone like I receive on the lab system I get what sounds like another dial tone but isn't. Does anyone know whats going on and how to fix it.
