BCM and APC Smart UPS issue

Want to check if anyone has the issue with APC Smart UPS that cannot see the status from BCM Element Manager.

In the past, we use APC SUA1000 and SUA1500 connecting BCM400 thru USB cable. Everything is fine.

Recently, one of our UPS stop working and need replacement. Understand that the SUA model has already been discontinued, and are replaced by SMT model. (According to APC web site).

We get a new SMT1500 and connect to the BCM. We can no longer see any UPS status from the Element Manager. All we see is only the model number.

We are still trying to find out whether it is the BCM issue, or whether it is the APC UPS issue.

Just want to see if anybody has experience similar issue and can give us some idea.

Could be that the MIB for the new UPS isn't included in the BCM MIBs. You might try patching the BCM with the latest updates or see if you can upload the MIB from the UPS documentation CD.
