I am using the BCM amp to provide music on hold and when I turn on the background music on the phones the music plays thru the speakers, however in my call center when people are on hold (distribution step)they hear tones. Is there a toggle on the call pilot side to switch from tones to music. I have looked all over and searched the pdf manuals and can't find it if it exists.
Mr Brent

Have you set the facility under Services/Telephony Services/General Settings/Feature Settings
You select Backgound Music to Yes and On Hold to be set to Music.

Yes, Background set to Y and on hold set to Music.

You need to logon to the BCM and under

services-----ip music

You will see a drop down menu on the right you need to change this from audio jack to BCMAMP

This should sort out your problem.

Its working now. The tech had tones for hold and changed so when I looked everything was right and it had started working but he didn't tell me it was fixed.
Thanks
