Are the Alarm and event codes the same as for the Norstar?

No.
There are many more alarms etc.
Most of the telephony alarms are the same.
You can view the active alarms in the alarm banner if you turn on the alarm service in BCM.

YOu should be able to view the alarms in the BCM with a detail description. I think it is called alarm banner. I know its there, I seen it, but since I dont visit that area much, kinda forgot.
