Greetings from Seattle,

Will the BCM ADID module either 4 or 8 port variety support caller ID?

Thanks,

Soop

A ADID is apparently a new BCM analog trunk module that supports DID. It comes in either a 4 or 8 port flavor.

So, one could get a GATM with caller ID enabled, or the ADID with DID enabled, but the two features will not work together on the same Media Bay Module?

What about the option of piggy-backing a Norstar module using a FEM?
I know you can hook up existing Norstar technology to the BCM with the FEM, but I'm not too familiar with Norstar - is there a Norstar card that would provide DID w/Caller ID?

Thanks guys,

We do have DID's in use with some systems using the FEM module going to a Norstar Expansion unit and using the Norstar DID cards. I was hoping the new ADID module for the BCM would cover both DID and caller ID. Maybe someday and the FEM is always a workable option.

Again thanks

Soop
