I just replaced an older BCM 3.7 with a BCM450 transferring the modules, sets, doorphones and door controllers. I know about the BST vs older doorphones, but these were already working on a BCM 3.7 and from what I remember when I last had a "Norstar" doorphone in my hands working, they didn't have light built into the push button.
Anyways the doorphones show up in Element Manager as doorphones but with no tab to program the target, paging, and timeout etc.
I've just read the previous postings on here and have not tried to switch ports as of yet. The doorphones are currently residing on a DSM32.
The other issue I have is with 2004 IP sets. Since the offprem sets are currently residing on a VPN, Nat Transversal has not been deployed, but the remote sets are fairly old and I wondered if older firmware won't work and how to determine if that's the problem?
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!
