Hi all

I am not able to monitor the lines on a remote BCM 50 R3.
What should i do so i am able to monitor it.

Thanks in advance,

You might need some ports opened on the router. Not sure whitch ones.

i am connecting through VPN connection.
well i can open the BCM 7000 port that i know of.

Everything else works fine, except the bcm monitor.

If using a VPN, ports shouldn't be a problem. Does it connect properly locally ?

the BCM Monitor connect to the Remote BCM.
The only problem is the line monitor does not show anything.

And show all lines i grayed.

Other than that, i connect successfully to the remote BCM with BCM Monitor.

You might need an updated EM or monitor s/w. I would get that on the 3.6 and 3.7 /greayed out.

I saw a similar problem, seems it was compatibility with windows 7. Are you running windows 7? I resolved by installing and running windows xp mode in windows 7, then installing bcm monitor in xp mode. It worked a treat then. Otherwise install on an xp pc if you have one.

Otherwise you might want to apply the latest desktop service update and try installing the bcm monitor that comes with it.

Let me know if this helps.
