What is the maximum copper lines I can put on this system?

20 - 4 in the main cabinet and 8 in each expansion.

If your going to have 20 copper lines, you should ust a PRI instead.

yup. in my area, anything much over 13 or 14 lines and it's cheaper to go T-1.

But, Ma Bell's on her way back, so that might change...
