Anyone know if the Call Pilot in the BCM 50 (or any of them) can tell 2 seperate phones that a mailbox has a message?

Sure, provided the second phone doesn't have a mailbox associated with it. For example, you can have mailbox 100 turn on a light on 221 and 222, provided 221 and 222 don't already have mailboxes providing MWI to those sets.

More specifically>>

Go to Call Pilot Manager
Select Mailbox Administration
Select Change/Delete Mailbox
Locate the mailbox in the list and click the Change link

Under Extension, insert the primary extension for this set.
Under Alt Ext 1: insert the second extension you want MWI on.
Under Alt Ext 2: insert a third extension if you want...

Submit the page and it should work.

As biv343 mentioned, it works best if the alt extensions don't have their own mailboxes.

Can anyone tell me if we HAVE to have a PRI in order to get DID with BCM 50? I am being told by one trusted source will not get DID unless have PRI and I am being told by another trusted source can use our copper trunks and send DNIS through to DID's...please help.

Thank you,

Andrea

You need to have a PRI to get DID on a BCM 50. Only way to get analog DID into a BCM is by using a fiber expansion module and a Norstar analog DID trunk card. Unfortunately, the FEM isn't supported on BCM 50. It would have to be a BCM 200/400/1000 to work.
