I installed a BCM 50 (first time) and all the POTS lines have echo on them when the client talks.

They are using the phones on the same network (192.168.1.) as their internet.

I have tried changing the CODEC and still get echo.

Any suggestions?

I have looked for it. Can you tell me where to find it?

It should be in the technical bulletin DOC ID2007007670.Managing echo on Lines and IP Phones. In your case I think you just need to disable and reenable the trunk module or Reset the phone system so it can do auto tuning on the lines that is already connected.I believe the standard medium loss package and 600 ohms impedance should work by default. The reason you have echo is because the system was powered up before the lines was installed. In my case with IP phones, I have to adjust default jitter buffer to small.ECAN is already enabled by default, then I have to reset the system.
