BCM 50 VoIP phones model 1140e intercom keys lock up

Have tried resetting the network connectivity by reset code through ip phones. The phones still come up with the intercom key locked/busy.
Tried to unplug patch cable same results
If I de-register the phone via alement manager and then register it again it works for about a week or two and then locks up again.
Help please.
