Hi Everyone,

This question has bugged me for a while and I hope you can help.

How do I redirect a call to another internal or external number without the original number (connected to its relevant port)requireing a handset to be connected?

No idea what you just said....do you mean how to transfer a call to an outside number off the system?

I'm guessing that you mean you want the ability to have an incoming call come in via a DID line and then dial out again?

Normally, the line redirect function would be used for external calls but as there isn't going to be a phone connected, then this will be an issue.

You might be able to use the Find Me / Follow Me facility and this depends on the release of software your BCM 50 has?.

It might also be possible to have the call go into call pilot with an option to be redirected.

You can also use the option to dial 7 from the subscriber mailbox and transfer to an external number. No phone required to use that feature.
