Hi all i need help to link two bcm 50 r 3.0 each has 4 voip trunks key code installed my client wants to transfer calls from one location to other using the voip lines any one who can help me configure the bcm i will appreciate for the help thanks
If you do not understand the concepts it would be best to hire a local specialist to set it up and train you in the maintenance and troubleshooting needed for day to day operation.
Just a note of personal experience. We had some horrible bugs in version 3 if there was a high volume of calls being transferred from a branch office, to remote site and back again. It would freeze up some internal resource in the BCM and the user would see their intercom keys would stop working one by one. So if there were 2 intercom keys the first one would lock up showing the in use indicator and then a short while later the second intercom would show in use and no more calls could be made. Going into element manager and removing intercom keys and adding them back again would temporarily clear the condition but once it started it would rapidly get worse until you restarted the entire BCM.
Upgrading those sites to the latest system update did not fix it. Paid to upgrade to version 6 and it has gone away.
