BCM 50 SYSTEM ID # QUESTION

I have a customer with a BCM 50 that I need to order key codes for.
I need their system ID # in order to order codes.
They are to far to go out and get system ID #.
Can I have customer retrive ID# by going into programming through the phone?(BCM isn't connected to LAN)
This would save me from going out to site-(1.5 hour drive) to connect laptop just to get id#!!

You could get them to try FEATURE ** SYSID from a 2-line display handset

NCSS, NCDS, NCTS

You can also have the customer enable the modem for 15 minutes via F9*8, modem number is 333 by default.

Beware though if its an unpatched Version 3.0 System then FEATURE **SYSID will probably return the wrong value - there is a patch to fix that.
