I am supposed to connect a phone line to the remote access modem on a BCM 50. Should I just connect this line to an available trunk port. I'm told the modem is built in to the BCM 50.

Does it work like a IRad except with element manager?

The BCM 50 modem works on a a spare DID line and it has to be programmed first as well as enabled.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

only a DID/target line?

can you assign a regular trunk port to it?

Yes analog too. Just like the Norstar RAD programming.
Look under dial-up in programming.

thanks, it was easy! with your help!
