BCM 50 release 1 upgrade to release 3

Can someone tell me or point me to some documentation detailing what a customer will gain in doing this?

RLS 1 had a lot of bugs which have been resolved w/ 3.0. Continued support from Nortel as it's MD'd. Not sure when the EOL date is. Probably soon tho. Has support I believe for the 1200 series sets.

I've done an FAQ on disk replacement for a BCM 50. I've learned that any BCM 50 version 1 system that you have can have a hard disk put in from a BCM 50 Version 2 image and the version 1 keycodes WILL work!. This isn't an upgrade as you will have to reprogram the system again, but it does give you more life for the original release 1 systems at no extra cost.

I've used acronis software and my BCM 50 version 2 will fit onto a DVD.
