BCM 50 reboot with set relocation on

I am not sure if this is what caused it. I have a site with a BCM 50. They requested set relocation to be on so they could move a few exts around. They have done this before and are aware of the 1 to 2 phone move at a time. Come Monday, all phones were in the correct location but they were experiencing heavy one way garble on 4 digit dialing. They kept insisiting it was the phones and not the VPN tunnel. I had them reboot and all programming done on Thursday and Friday was lost and all exts that moved were reverted back to the way it was before they moved. I have never seen any BCM loose partial programming before. Couls this have happened because set relocation was on when rebooted???
BCM 50 rls 3.0
Expanded to 27 phones now.

Highly unlikely. But in the absence of any other explanation, I'm guessing allot of posts are going to say yes. Never seen this happen on a rls. 1 or 2. Maybe somebody has on a rls. 3?

Did the reboot fix the "one-way garble"?

It has nothing to do with set relocation. Make sure it is all patched up.

Customer did not complain of garble after reboot

I will check to see if current on patches. Has anybody ever seen a BCM loose partial programming?

Not BCM50. BCM400, yes.

I have seen a bcm50 rls. 2 loose partial programming with reboot. There is a patch that fixes this.

On Bcm50 Rel 2 i experienced this:

- Core programming is lost after first reboot.
On a freshly cloned system, CoreTel configuration data is lost after a warm restart of the CoreTel process.
Q01524191-01 fixed by BCM050.R200.044-CORE patch(in SU13)

Never lost programming on R1 Or R3.
