BCM 50 R6 POWER/STATUS BOTH SOLID YELLOW

I have a BCM 50 R6 not booting we tried changing HD and still not booting. Reset switch does not seem to effect unit..I didnt see any burn marks on MB either. I told customer unit is N/G and needs to be replaced.

I don't believe the r6 bcm's can be reset like the other releases can.

If you replaced the drive with a multi-image unit, you have to initialize it as a BCM50R6 first before it will boot.

Level 2 reset does not work on a R5 or R6. As was mentioned above, if a multi-image drive was used then you have to use PuTTY to initialize the drive and load the proper release.
