BCM 50 r3 and 4x16 card 1

I have a BCM r3 with 2 expansion modules and a POE switch. My customer has a 4x16 card they want to reuse. I don't have a spare 4x16 card to test. Where does the dn range start. In the book, the DSM 32 starts at a different dn than the 4x16. So, I don't think I can use the DSM 32 to test. I believe my dns should be 253 to 268. Thank you.

I've never seen an R3, but I'll give it a shot. Your gonna have 14 (12 TDM and 2 analog) on the main cabinet. So, that is 221-234. Your 4 analog trunks would take the first 1/2 of your 1st expansion cabinet, 235-250.

My guess and that's all it is, since I have no manual in front of me is x251.

Well the first portion of the 4x16 is trunks and the station takes the next highest resource it also depends on what expantion you assign the card to. Just put it in assign it and see what DN's you get. Make sure to reset the switches.

Thats one of the problems, the customer is reusing the card. I can't put it in until its cut over. I am not using the 12 digital stations on the BCM 50 r3, that way we don't have to order key codes. I was going to put the 4x16 card in the 1st expansion module, and a DTM in the 2nd. I am using 4 analog stations off the main unit, using new key codes. I believe I would start on bus 3 for the dns 253-268. My problem is, if I am wrong, its going to be a lot of re-programming during the cut. Thank you for your input.

I forgot, there are 4 analog stations on main cabinet. That would make my guess of 251, should have been 253. Damn.
