I have a client that has 1 BCM 50 in 1 town and wants an easy way to transfer a caller to a number at another location across the city. The system has a T1 on it. I thought I would make up a route so they can easily transfer callers to a code and it will go out. Looking at routes now I am not so sure been a long time...

Suggestion: Subjects like "BCM 50 Routing" or BCM External Forward" works better then "BCM 50 Question".

Dest codes point to Routes
Routes point to lines
In Routes put in the external number you want to forward too.

I like to start my Destcodes at 7X or 7XX for External Forwarding as this allows you to add a few or many.

Example:
Dest Code 71 = Route 001 - Absorb All
Route 001 = Ext#:XXX-XXX-XXXX - BlocA

Users Method:
Feature 471

Make sure to allow Line Rerdirect in capabilities
