Hi, Have a customer that wants 30 TDM phones and 12 lines, with aa/vm, 4 ata ports, and a 4 trunk VOIP gateway to network to other BCM sites they have, as well as remote programming. Not sure if the BCM 50 will fit the bill or should go to 100/400. I like the fact 50 is on new OS instead of NT 4.0. Any suggestions? Time frame of OS change on 100/400

BCM 50 will work well in that config. It'll be full, since you'll need two expansion cabinets (32 port DSM, and a 8 port GATM). Activate the 4 trunks and 4 analog stations in the main cabinet and you're all set. You'll still be able to active the other 12 digital stations if you need more phones.

Big question is if they'll ever need a 13th line. If they might, then you may want to look towards a different platform.
