I just gave a client outbound transfer from a mailbox as an option. It works well. Only issue is he has 2 lines only. So I wanted the feature to work with Link on the line. Issue is I cant seem to figure out how to insert a link in the dial string of the out call number
I see ADD and it has pause-dig-other-star-# if I try to enter Fx71 it cuts me out of program?????

Please advise if we can link out instead of using a second line...

Use Pool 1
Then try one of these:
#XXX-XXX-XXXX
#XXX-XXX-XXXX#
#PXXX-XXX-XXXX <---I am leaning to this one
#PXXX-XXX-XXXX#
#DXXX-XXX-XXXX

To enter a special character:
#5?
? =:
2 - to go back to adding digits
3 - to enter pause
4 - to wait for dialtone
5 - to enter # (Link)
6 - to enter *

To enter this (Link,Pause,10 digit Number): #PXXX-XXX-XXXX
Do this in programming: #5532XXX-XXX-XXXX

I am a bit confused to this message

Do this in programming: #5532XXX-XXX-XXXX

So enter in to the string #5 532 and the number= what is the #5 and the 532 doing ????

Per my post above

#5 says you can now enter characters
5 will do character # for LINK
3 will do character P for PAUSE
2 will let you go back to entering digits instead of characters.
XXX-XXX-XXXX

Add the highlighted above and you get #PXXX-XXX-XXXX

If you're typing this in on a computer to a BCM, it will be "#D" before the phone number.

#5 and 3 with tel # worked....Many Thanks my friend...
