Bcm 50 Nrs Issue

I have a BCM50 that I am trying to register on the NRS to allow interoffice dialling. The error I am getting is..

Your post doesn't have many details. Will you be using H323 or SIP tunks? What is the IP of the BCM50, what is the H323id or SIP endpoint name of the BCM50. Do you have the endpoint added to the gk database.

Using h323 trunks. IP of the BCM50 is 10.90.254.1 and the h323id is bcm50. The endpoint is added and it will show up as registered on the NRS but the BCM50 continually says attempting to discover gatekeeper.

When I telnet into the NRS the above error is what I see..

I cant understand why the NRS has the IP address of the BCM50 as registered when the BCM50 says it isnt registered.

Sounds like you have the node address of the sig server in the gatekeeper settings instead of the IP address of the signalling server itself. The gatekeeper address in the BCM needs to be the TLAN address of the sig server, not the node address.

Yeah have the TLAN IP address of the sig server in the gatekeeper settings.
As for the endpoint in the NRS is it a non RAS H323 endpoint?

Check to see if the Alias name is exactly the same. (On the BCM side, it should be "NAME:<alias>")
