OK, my BCM 50 is set to 6 rings for the auto attendant. It picks up at 3.

My provider is talking to Nortel and assumed there is a "patch" for it. Seems like there is a lot of patches for the BCM 50, my 400 is great.

Has anyone else had a similar issue? Could this be a telephony line issue from my provider???

Thanks
Matt

Yes, if you have Centrex lines from Telco, they could be sending a double ring, which the Call Pilot counts as two rings.

Adversity is Opportunity

It sounds like a programming problem. Probably a phone that is forwarded incorrectly. Or possibly a DRT issue. To test this, stop the line from being answered by the AA after 6 rings. Call it and I bet it still goes to vmail.

I ran across the same thing, and although it wasn't Centrex, the CO was still sending two short rings instead of the usual long one. The customer wanted AA to answer after 4 rings so I set it to 8 and it worked great. Try changing it to 0 rings and test it to make sure you're configuring the correct line.

Set to 12, it works now at 6 rings.

Thanks to all!

Once I figure out what caused it specifically i will update the post. It will be next week though.

Thanks again
Matt

Does anyone know how to get the web browser feature to work on th Ip 2007 nortel phone? It is tied into a BCM50 3.0 system.

Thanks
