I have two BCM 50's. One has stopped working. Can I transfer the keycodes from the broken BCM 50 and add them onto the working BCM 50?

If so, would they replace the existing codes on the working BCM 50 or would they add to them?

What would be the procedure for me to do this if it is possible?

Thanks,

Via the KRS System, you can transfer keycodes from a failed BCM unit onto a BCM that hasn't been used before or has been taken off KRS if that unit was a failed system in the past.

What exactly is the problem with the failed unit?

If you are an authorized Avaya partner and you open an Avaya IT ticket under the KRS category, explain the situation they can assist you on wiping off the codes from one system and taking your failed units codes and regenerating them on it. They will not add to that boxes codes just replace it but they have been very good lately about doing this for everyone.
