BCM 50 IP phones with no talk path

I have installed an I2004 on a BCM 50. The phone is registered and working however there is no talk path either way, no internal or external dial tone. I have removed all firewalls for testing and no change.

Could be a bad phone?

What codec?

Is the BCM50 networked to another phone system? If so, maybe a payload mismatch?

Is the phone connected via LAN or WAN? It needs to be on a VPN if using the public network. Have you setup the QOS?
