BCM 50 Internal ring and handsfree

I have a customer with a bcm 50 installed. About a week ago he complained that his handsfree and and internal ringing was not working.

ie. if someone called him internally or transferred a call to him his intercom button would flash but no ring, as well when he tried to use his handsfree button there was no sound. the phone itself looked like it was working but no volume. Strange I know.

at first I figured it to be a bad phone and switched his phone with his boardroom phone. but a day later the problem reoccured. Today I changed system ports and the problem followed the orriginal port 0408.

has anyone seen or heard this before.

If you have set relocation on, and you move the set to a new port, then all settings will follow that phone.

I would do a Feature#85 to turn off DND and see if that fixes it

thats the problem the error didn't follow the ext, i did set relocation with ext 4228(p0408) and ext 4239(p0409) and the problem stayed at port 0408 witch is now ext p0409
