Hi Guys

Hope you can help.

We have inherited a BCM 50 at one of our customer sites and are now lookng after it for them. We managing to program it ok and are starting to understand it! But now we have a issue we can't work out how to resolve.

The extensions are configured with DDI numbers and when the user does to answer the call fallback to a different group.

Now, we need to change this so when the user is on the phone internal calls ring engaged and external calls still fallback to the different group as before.

Any ideas how we program this?

Many thanks in advance

Chris

I think within the BCM programming for each extension is a tick box for DND (Do Not Disturb)on busy. Check it's ticked if you want the extension to have busy tone.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

ok thanks, I tried that yesterday but will try again and let you know.

Thanks

Chris

You have to modify the target line assigned to each set(where your DDI is programmed).By default it is programmed to go to the prime set, change it to "busy" instead.
You would do the same thing when you have a DID for a fax, you want the second fax to get a busy signal whenever a first fax is coming in.
