I was in element manager and was requested by the customer to change the password. I did so and it asked me to confirm the pw I did and there was a screen note that I would loose my connection to EM and have to log back in-

Tried to log back in and there was an error message wrong id or pw

tried the old one and still the same message-

i then tried to log on telset with default pw that I had been using and that says invalid

Lugerlover told mew I most likely will have to get Nortel to reset as I supected, but has anyone had this problem?

any help?

You can try a level 1 reset, you will lose all your programming but keep your keycodes.

Had a similar problem with BCM50 2.0. Reloaded element manager off the 50 and was able to get in no problem.

Nortel can reset it through a backdoor. You'll have to open a ticket but sometimes its better than loosing programming...
