BCM 50 Door Phone Issue

Hi, does anyone know of a list of compatible door phones for the BCM 50 and how to program them?

I have heard that you have to assign them to an analogue trunk? Also when trying to enter the DN for internal hotline it just reverts back to “direct dial set” Could someone please point me in the right direction to resolve this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Viking makes a line of doorboxes and entry controlers that use an available trunk port on the 50, you should not have to program a hotline for it to work. It would be just a line key appearence on the sets you want to ring.

BCM 50 are not compatible with Norstar digital doorphone. You must use third party doorphone (Require a Trunk position in your system). If you wish to wait a couple of weeks or month, the release 2 will support it. But to upgrade to version 2 it's will cost you some $$$
