BCM 50 Door Phone Entry

Is there anyone already installed Door Phone Entry extension for BCM 50,what is the procedure and how it is works,Many Thanks

The BST doorphones won't work on the BCM 50 until release 2.0. You'd need to connect an analog 3rd party doorphone (such as a Valcom unit) in todays release.

thanks for that Biv,yes im using analog type door phone,the brand is urmet,first i put an anlog line using ATA2 and when i tried to configure a hotline and set to internal it does save the config it keeps coming back on direct dial sets.Thanks

I have an analog doorphone wired to our gates for opening and intercom ability. We plugged the doorphone control box into a standard analog trunk port on the BCM50. From here I added another line to all the digital phones in our office so any phone can open/close or talk with anyone at the gates. Are you wanting the doorphone to ring on an analog set / specific phone only?

The problem is we dont have analog trunk port,i only use digital port converted to analog via ATA2,i dont have any idea how will i start from there,initially it will ring on one specific extension (digital),any suggestions?Thanks

Sorry, I haven't used an ATA myself so I won't be able to further assist you.
