BCM 50 DOOR BOX DOC QUESTION

Installing a BCM50 tonight with a door box and doc unit- need to confirm the DOC wire out so we do not loose to much time tonight...

Do you split the power between pins 1 and door strike- then put door strike other side on pin 2

or do you put power on to 1 and 2 then a strap to pin 4 from 1 and put strike on pin 2 and 4 ???

a bit confusing.. I know 7 and 8 go to door box..

I have the book and I want to confirm

power to 1 and 2
strap from 1 to 4
strap from 2 to wire going to one side of strike
other end of strike to position 5

Sorry mate but maybe I dont understand, never known that guide to be wrong but you are stating the exact way the guide is telling you....are you second guessing the guide?.

No just asking to confirm I am on the right track... the guide is a bit un clear. So the straps are correct from 1 to 4

The loop to 1 and 4 is correct, 4 and 5 are the relay for when the user activates the DOC
When the 6 or OPEN is press 1 and 5 are then connected.
