I have noticed that my BCM 50 is not disconnecting calls properly. I have one incoming analog (1FB) line. Of course, when it doesn't disconnect my callers get a busy until the system times out. I have tried both supervised and unsupervised options on the line. What other options are there?

I use the auto-attendant and it doesn't sense the disconnect and will continue the greeting and transfer the call to my stations. Once you answer and hang up it is ok. It just seems to be "off hook" a lot.

Any ideas from you BCM gurus??

Use Supervised but you also have to check with Telco and make sure that they have it turned on.

I have this problem with GATM modules in the past and have had to contact the exchange provider and ask them to increase the clear down disconnect timer. The GATM module seems to have this problem especially if there is VM involved.

Good Day,

I am having a problem with my newly installed BCM 50. I will set some extensions to have some Answer DN's and it will work fine for a while. When you call one extension it rings on all the phones that have that extension programmed as an Answer DN. But then for some strange reason it will loose this programming over night. And then I have to do it all over again. Any suggestions?
