BCM 50 date and time resets back to jan 1

small system with 6 lines and 6 digital phones. it is not on customers network. i set the date and time in telset programming. after 5-10 minutes the time resets back to jan 1. this has happened 5 times in last hour! rebooted system and it did not correct. help!

If it is an early release of the BCM50 (say R1) then you have to set the time using element manager in order for it not to revert back to what it was. Just like with the BCM400 3.5/3.6 the system won't except a time change done through the telset admin.

Is the system fully patched ? What release ?

Have you tried setting the system to recieve time via trunk ?

All set - changed the setting in EM for date and time to Manual. Had been set to Trunk and that was a problem.
