I was asked to price 8 seat on a BCM 50 but always thought they came out of the box with 8 mailbox, client things it has none so I thought I could check quickly via Feature 9*8 but saw no option to view system configuration. I thought I did that in the past at another client.

Is there a quick way via a telephone set to check how many voice mail sets are active?

BCM does not come with any vm seats. The are license based. The only way to check them is through Element manager.

All the BCM 50 we have purchase come out of the box with 4 line, 8 digital seat, 2 IP seat, 2 analog port and 8 voicemail seat, are you saying I've been lucky on my purchases, lol.

The branch office told me that they have General Delivery set up but head office was not ware. could you have the voice mail answer calls and only have Genera Delivery? The office is 1.5 hours away from us and was hoping to be have the client follow some simple commands and check.

The bcm callpilotmanager should have the basic gen delivery and system manager mailbox as default.

Initialise the call pilot and AA will be there with 2 mailboxes

You need licences for other mailboxes afterwards.

You can buy them that way as a package, other wise you buy the licenses for what you want. We have bought them with no digital licenses but buy the expantion unit(s) licence and start with 32 digital sets and a 16 port trunk mod for examp.

the 4 line, 8 digital seat, 2 IP seat, 2 analog port and 8 voicemail seat is a bundle you can buy.

it's the bundle I seem to by buying. So the question is without the Element Manager access from a distance is there a quick way to log in via a telephone set and check the number of voice mail seat? I'm sure I've done it in the past but the last two BCM I logged in via F9*8 I could not see the system configuration. I am sure at one point I was viewing all the system licienses via a phone set? I'm I dream this up?

To verify the keycodes using Telset

The numerical values of the user ID and password are 738662 and 266344, respectively.
3 Press NEXT to scroll through the menu and select Feature Codes.
4 Press OK.
The system ID (SID) displays.

6 Enter your sequence ID.
7 Press NEXT to scroll through the list and perform one or both of the following tasks:
a To activate features, select Feature List.
