I thought this worked on another system I installed.

Incoming call hits CCR 1
= thanks for calling
press 1 for english
Press 2 for spanish

once you make a selection (1 or 2) you cannot then dial an
EXT. IE 221, 222 etc.

what am I doing wrong or missing ???

Thanks
It's only dialtone-VZ

sounds like you have DN Dialing diabled on the Call Pilot

I believe you can only dial an extension at the top level auto attendant.

You should be able to dial an extension from any Menu except an Information one.

You are building a Path, "Press 1 for English". What are you building the Path to do?

Incoming call hits Auto Attendant greeting table 1 ( after 4 rings)
( I have no Company greeting recorded so it hits the CCR Menu Node 1 )
= thanks for calling ( CCR 1 recording)
press 1 for english
Press 2 for spanish
once you make a selection (1 or 2)

it plays a message ( in spanish or English)
for linda smith Dial x221
Paul johnson x222
etc.

new system so they wanted to state their ext. numbers

Thanks

It's only dialtone-VZ

also to note they have Centrex lines coming in which might be my issue.
But it does reconize DTMF because it replays the dila x221 x222 etc. if you start hitting keys

It's only dialtone-VZ

Make Path 1 a leave message, build info mbox, attach it to the leave message. You'll have too say, " For John Smith Press * 221, for Jane Doe Press * 222. They can rerecord that info mbox when people come and go. Pressing * gets you out of the greeting and ringing on the set you chose.
